🔄 Returns & Refunds Policy
Not quite the story you were expecting? No problem! If your item isn’t a perfect fit for your bookish collection, our return process is smooth and simple. Read below to find out how to return an item or request a refund.
1. The 30-Day Return Policy (Standard Items)
For all standard, non-personalised bookmarks, cards, eReader inserts, and wall art prints, we offer a 30-day return window from the date your package is delivered.
- Condition: Items must be returned unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging to qualify for a full refund.
- Return Shipping: Unless the item is faulty or arrived damaged, you are responsible for the return postage costs. We highly recommend using a trackable service or getting a free proof of postage from the Post Office, as we cannot refund items that get lost on their way back to our studio.
2. Personalised & Custom Gear
Many of our bookish designs allow for custom names or specific literary quotes.
- The Rule: Because personalised items are custom-printed specifically for your order, they cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded unless they arrive damaged, faulty, or with an error made on our part.
- Please ensure all spellings, names, and custom quotes are 100% correct before locking in your checkout!
3. Damaged or Faulty Items
Did your package have a rough journey through the postal system? If your item arrives bent, torn, or damaged, we will absolutely replace or refund it for you.
- What to do: Drop us an email at littreasuretrove@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery.
- What to include: Please include your order number and a quick photo of the damaged product and packaging. Once verified, we will dispatch a replacement immediately or issue a full refund.
4. Missing Packages & Shipping Delays
We ship all orders placed before 11:00am on the very same day (Monday to Saturday) via Royal Mail. However, sometimes the postal system experiences unexpected delays.
- When is it officially lost? Royal Mail does not consider a domestic item officially “lost” until 10 working days have passed from the expected delivery date.
- If your order hasn’t arrived after 7 business days, please let us know so we can keep an eye on it. If it still hasn’t materialized after 10 working days, we will declare it lost, issue you a full refund, or send a fresh replacement package out right away.
5. How to Initiate Your Return
Ready to send something back? Follow these quick steps:
- Email Us: Contact our support team at littreasuretrove@gmail.com with your order number and the reason for your return.
- Pack it Up: Safely pack your item back up (using the original hardbacked envelope or board to prevent any bending in transit).
- Ship it: Mail it back to the return address provided by our team.
- Get Refunded: Once we receive your return and verify its condition, we will process your refund back to your original payment method (Credit/Debit card, PayPal, or Apple Pay) within 3–5 business days.
