🔄 Returns & Refunds Policy

Thank you for shopping at Lit Treasure Trove! We hope your literary loot brings joy, but if something’s not quite right, we’re here to help. Please read the following returns and refund info carefully.


1. 🗓️ Overview

Our return and refund window lasts 30 days from the date of purchase. If more than 30 days have passed, we unfortunately can’t offer a full refund or exchange.


2. ✅ Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, your item must be:

  • Unused
  • In the same condition you received it
  • In its original packaging

Non-returnable items include:

  • Perishables (like food, flowers, etc.)
  • Intimate/sanitary goods
  • Hazardous materials
  • Flammable liquids or gases
  • Personalized or made-to-order items (like custom mugs, coasters, etc.)

Other non-returnable bits:

  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable items
  • Health/personal care items

To complete your return, please provide a receipt or proof of purchase.


3. 🚫 Non-Returnable Items

Custom-made items can’t be returned unless they arrive damaged or faulty.
If your item was a gift sent directly to you, we’ll issue a gift credit instead of a refund.


4. 🌓 Partial Refunds

We may grant partial refunds in the following cases:

  • Items with clear signs of use
  • Items not in original condition, damaged, or missing parts (not due to our error)
  • Items returned after the 30-day window

5. 💸 Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll email you to confirm and let you know if your refund is approved.

If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method. Please allow some time for your bank or provider to handle it on their end.


6. ⏳ Late or Missing Refunds

Not seeing your refund yet? Try this:

  • Check your bank account
  • Contact your card company or bank (processing delays happen!)

7. 🔁 Exchanges

We only replace items if they arrive damaged or defective. To exchange something, email us at littreasuretrove@gmail.com and we will arrange the process with you.


8. 🚚 Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. These are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the original shipping cost will be deducted.

For high-value items, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or shipping insurance. We can’t guarantee that we’ll receive your returned item without tracking.
